Refer a colleague and save on your membership

Help grow the collective voice of the AMA (WA) and enjoy savings on
your membership fees

All members of the AMA (WA) are invited to refer a colleague. The greater our voice, the more successful we can be to advocate on a diverse range of issues for the benefit of the entire profession, provide WA doctors with greater resources and deliver better workplace relations services.

How it works

  • Invite a colleague to join AMA (WA).
  • Ask them to list your full name and place of practice under “How did you hear about AMA (WA)?” in their application.
  • Once their membership is confirmed, you’ll receive a credit on your membership fees.*

Your rewards

Senior Members (Full-time Private Specialists, GPs, Public Hospital
Doctors):
  • $100 credit for each successful referral – up to $400 per year

Other Members (Part-time, Doctors in Training, Retired, Overseas, Parental Leave, Newly Fellowed & GP Registrars):

  • $50 credit for each successful referral – up to $200 per year

Terms & Conditions

  • Referral credits are capped at 4 per year.
  • Only current financial members are eligible for referral credits.
  • The referred member must pay annual fees in full, or complete three consecutive monthly payments, before credits are applied.
